What a Challenge......

I have been having some Chi issues of late and I get frustrated with my stiff, straight lines and neat stuff, I want to be good at the arty crazy side of Scrapping.... So Vicki Challenged me to Scrap like her!!!! I love Vicki's style but am always nervous of the ripping and heavy distressing etc. So Vicki gave me 9 elements I must use but how and with what else was up to me.

Elements:
1. Distressing
2. Buttons attached with wire
3. Ripping
4. Paint splatting
5. Pizza Box
6. Mesh
7. Sewing
8. Paper Rolling
9. Fabric

So here is what I came up with. I really like the finished layout.

Thanks for looking. I will be using this style again. Thanks for the Challenge Vic.

I hope your feeling Scrappy and you all have creative Mojo. Jay xx

Florida, Faeries, Slides and Walks...

... I have been having Fun Fun Fun....

Universal Studios Islands of adventure FLORIDA:

This first lo is using the gorgeous paper, transparancies and letters from the new company My little shoebox. I used them to scrap some old pictures of our florida Holiday.

I believe in Faeries, Do you?
I used some glitter stickers from MM, Chiosticker letters from BG, The paper is from the Beau Jardin Range from Bo Bunny, I had fun with stickles and stitching material and used lots of other fun bits too. Lots of fun to do.
Just another WINTERS WALK!
I was inspired to roll the paper tubes for this lo by a member on UKScrappers - username: ellsese and her Its a boy thing lo, which I have in my favs. Thank you so much for the inspiration. I found rolling the paper tubes quite Cathartic and the lo was great fun to do.
Slip Sliding away:
3 great Pictures of Vic and her Nephew Kristofer on the slide on our day at the park last summer. I used a slice for the first time to cut the frames and photo's, what a gorgeous and useful little machine, I want one now but as Vic has one there is no point (and no money lol) but I would recommend it. I also used distress sticles on the branches and it gave a great texture without over blinging it, brilliant stuff.

So these are my 4 most recent lo's, thanks for looking and I hope you have a scrappy day.

LOL 100 packs of Thickers

I saw a thread on UKScrappers about Thickers and when I mentioned I had 100 or so packs a photo was requested so I obliged (had such a giggle taking it) and thought I would pop it on here too. Rachel if you happen to read this, this picture is for you, lol happy packing.

Thanks for reading, I shall be back tomorrow with pictures of recent layouts, I was at my crop yesterday and got a total of 0 done, the worst result ever but I did have a fab giggle, which is the most important bit lol.
