MASSIVE CATCH UP!!!

Wow!! What a mad time it has been, I am working almost full time volunteering for Shelter Shops. I have had a couple of sick kitties but they seem a bit better now, thankfully.

I am gonna to do a quick run down of a couple of things I have been up to and my latest 5 layouts, just so that I am caught up and can quite happily go back to more regular blogging.

Saturday March 28th

It was our KFC Easter crop, what a great day, lots of fun, lots of creativity and lots of yummy food, thanks mum and all the ladies who contributed with baking and sweets. Also a big Thanks to Jane for her fabby classes and Bex for her fabby shop, Bumbleberry crafts. Which was full of yummy stuff, including 3 new Rusty Pickle ranges and some other yummy Rusty Pickle bits, amongst lots of other fabby stash yumminess.
Here are a few pics of the day, inluding the gorgeous egg tree Helen sorted for us, covered in fab hand decorated blown eggs, done by some of our members.

Our fabby Egg tree.A great time seemed to be had by all. It was a long but brilliant day.

Friday 3rd April

Vicki and I went to spend the day with her sister Lisa and her Nephews Jamie and Oscar.

Lisa and I had a good chat and a real giggle at Vicki and Jamie play fighting and it was so nice to meet the gorgeous Oscar for the first time.

Lisa and Oscar
Awwwww so cute! Beep Beep!
I had a fab day with Lisa and the boys and I look forward to doing it again soon.

Sunday 5th April
Vicki and I went down to beach. the sun was out and it was really warm but there was so no point in brushing and straightening our hair, as you can see below it was quite a wind. lol.
We had a great laugh and really chilled out.
Fab end to a great weekend.
I have also been doing some scrapping, here are my 5 most recent lo's.

What big feet you have
This was such a simple layout, mainly chipboard and paint lol but I really liked how it came out.

Born 2 be wild?

This was my first time playing with Sassafrass Bungle Jungle and I have to say I really love it, I thought it went really well with the boys Giraffe tops.

Just a few clouds in abright blue sky
This lo was so fun to do, my fav. part was flocking the big chipboard cloud

Mr. Pickle
I was so excited to have a play with these papers etc. it is the first new Rusty Pickle I have had in a while, I LOVE the bright colours of this Candy land Range and they seemed perfect to scrap this picture of Mr. Pickle himself, Lance Anderson. What a really nice guy he is too. The picture was taken in June last year, I had been RAK'D a ticket to his classes, I still to this day, don't know who sent me the ticket, I would love to thank them but I guess I destined never to know. If the person reads my blog then I want them to know, that thier generous act will never be forgotten, I had a great day at a time when I really needed it.

I find Rusty pickle very easy to work with and Candy land is no exception, I love it and the rub-ons. I shall be using this again.

RHI-RHI
This layout was a first for me, I have never cut a person out of a photo to create a layout but I had a scrapping disaster, I lost an entire album to a CUP OF COFFEE!!!! straight down into each page, the whole album was trashed. I managed to salvage some by cutting out the main pieces and re- working them but this picture just screamed, cut me out and use mw with the new range of 3 bugs! So I did. I am really pleased with the result.

Thanks so much for reading my blog, I am going to have a good blog hop and catch up with everyone else.

hugs Jay xx
