What a fabby Christmas!

It was my first Christmas with none of my Family around me, my brother and his family were in Ireland and Mum was l;ooking after his house so I spent my Christmas with BF Vicki. I have a brilliant time, we played games and spoilt each other rotten. I got fab presents from everyone this year, thanks you to Mum, Katie, Lori, Jayne, My bro and fsmily and of course Vicki, who cooked me fab meals, kept my house in order, looked after my furbabies and spoiled me rotten.

What more could you want in your Xmas stocking than you BF Vicki!!! LOL

Here are some pictures of non scrapping stuff I got for Xmas, if you want to see the my Scrapping stash pressies then pop over to my Scrappy blog and have a peak.

My phone has it's own wardrobe, 3 new socks and 5 new charms. So cute

I love Hello Kitty stuff!

I got sorts of other bits too! I can't wait to get my nose stuck into Dawn French's book and those book marks from claires Accessories will make fabby scrap embellies LOL. I can't wait to try my electronic Salt mill it looks like fun lol, thanks mum!!

I spent the whole of Christmas day in my new yummy snuggly PJ's.

So on Boxing Day I thought I would put a bit of slap on, which ended up being loads of slap in a rocky horror sort of genre. What great fun. Don't know if you can see but Vicki had massive bright pink eyelashes on. What a giggle, we played games, including something with chickens and Monopoly. Vicki beat me so badly lol.

What a great reminder of a fab Christmas! A great way to end 2008. I am really looking forward to New Year now!

What a fantastic time I have had!

I spent most of November getting into my job, I had a great time. I also managed to fit in a visit from Lori but I spent alot of the time working (sorry hun!) Then the festive season really kicked it with our Christmas scrap booking crop, on saturday 29th November, what a brilliant day we had and Jayne and Lori stayed the night before the crop. I will talk more about that on my scrapping and crop blogs.

Then December hit, I had so much fun, starting on the first of December when My BF Vicki and I put up our little advent tree's we had done for each other, they had a present for each day of advent on them, such a fab thing to do. Mine was the white tree.

ADVENT TREES

Most of my time was taken up by work but I managed to spend some time with Vicki and on my first day off in december vicki and I chilled out for a much needed day of rest and watched Christmas Movies.

My Second Day off we went to Edinburgh and Glasgow for our Christmas shopping, what fun, in the morning we went to get a present in Edinburgh, we then went to Glasgow for a days shopping , we met my brother for his lunch and then more shopping and then at around 6pm we headed back to Edinburgh and went to the German market, it was my first time, it really had the feeling of Christmas, I had a fantastic day. Here are some pictures of our day.

I always look forward to this!!!!

Each year now, I look forward to this advert coming on at Christmas, I still laugh every single time it is on.

MERRY CHRISTMAS & SORRY!!!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS to all in Blogland!!

I must apologise for being away for around 2 and a half months, I got a job for a while and I really love it! Sadly it ends in a couple of weeks but who knows what will be around the corner.

I am going to try to keep a better blog but I had so much going on and was working 6 days a week. Now that I am used to that, things should feel easier to cope with, I have also not been very well, I still don't know why but am going to see my doctor next week as my toes and fingers are numb but I am sure it will be something simple.

Anyway, enough waffle

Have any of you decided what resolutions you will have come New years eve????

I am going to do a catch up post now with bits of what the last few month held for me.

Mohican's, Marshmallows, Tiny Fingers and cute babies.

Having very recently decided to join a new UKS team. Girls with STASH ( Hi girls!), now that my life is a little less bumpy, I thought I would take a look at the weekly challenges. I liked the look of the September week 5 challenge, so I gave it a go and here is what I came up with.

THE FIRST TIME YOU HELD MY FINGER
This was fun, I covered a Heidi Swapp ghost flower with stickles and it worked really well.
Here I used a fancy pants Rubber stamp, I then picked areas out with glue and flocked them, with the OH SO Gorgeous PAPERMANIA GLITTER FLOCK.
The picture is of my Nephew Jake holding my hand for the first time.

1st MOHICAN
This lo was fun, it is the only picture we have of my mum as a baby, here hair was huge even then LOL.
Scarlets Letter is one of my fav. BG ranges.

HUSH LITTLE BABIES
This is my brothers partner Emma and one of my gorgeous twin nephews BEN with their kitten Puk, who thinks he is a triplet.
This LO was done for the October week 1 challenge on UKS. Fab Sketch and challenge.

WUMMAGING AWOUND IN THE MARSHMALLOW UNDERGWOTH!!!

I did this lo for the UKS October house Challenge, the theme is FUN! and the challenge was to use as many patterned papers as possible, I used 16.
I am in love with these white CHIT CHAT PUFFY THICKERS! Yummy!
I also found that I love the neon Sakura Gelly roll pens, I have had then for over 18months and never thought to use them lol. DOH!!!

The Pictures are of myself and my friend Beckie, having fun at the back of a scrapping class.

Thanks for looking. xxx

TELLY ADDICT

People who know me well, will know that TV is not often top of my agenda. However recently there have been some seriously good things to watch. Samatha Who? with the very funny Christina Applegate, is shaping up to be great fun but I am interested to see how far they can take it.
I never got into Sex in the City but watching this show makes me think maybe I should have, Love it, Love it, Love it!!
The Big Daddy of all the TV I am watching right now is Heroes series 3 VILLAINS!!! With the writers strike season 2 was a little less than I hoped for but brilliant all the same, series 3, based on the first 2 episodes, is shaping up to be OUTSTANDING! I want to see more NOW!!!!!
I am also watching Katy and Peter the next chapter, which I love and I have managed to catch up with season 2 of DEXTER. Bloody FANTASTIC!!! Roll on series 3.

68 days Free of smoke and still going strong.

Bye for now xxxxxxxxxxx

RETRO, GOTHIC and ROSE MOKA

Well my friend Beckie, who's Blog I regularly visit for inspiration HERE! has a lot to answer for this week. I popped on to have a read and I saw her chatting about Rose Moka designs, so me being me, just had to have a look and of course fell in love with the papers and tiny letters. My mum being mum did me a little order to try them and I am addicted. I find the papers so easy to work with and the tiny letters are so yummy, I found some even smaller ones from Adorn it on Sarah's cards, that compliment these well too.
So Beckie, if you happen to read this, I will be having words LOL! but seriously thanks for the advice, it's all so yummy. I produced 2 layouts that I really do love.
RETRO RAINBOW REVIVAL

Bling and Prima's seem to hit the spot for an 80's revival feel.
I just looooove all the bright colours.
These pictures were taken on a girlie 80's make-up moment, we just really fancied having some fun with it and I really love these 2 pictures of the make-up I put on Vicki in a rainbow formation. Great fun to do, both the layout and the make-up for that matter.
A GOTHIC TWIST ON A GIRLS NIGHT IN
Everyone says this a scary picture of me but I am fascinated by it, I really like it. Not sure what that says about me lol. It was taken on a Girls Night in with my Pals Jayne and Vicki, we decided a Gothic Make-up session was in order. and this photo was what Vicki did to me.
This was the first time I had used the darling chipboard thickers in this gorgeous lipgloss pink and I have to say I love the font and the colour. Yummy.
For the main part, this is all Rose Moka papers but I also used Creative Imaginations rub ons and some buttons, I really love the American crafts square ones but I can't seem to find any shops that sell them anymore, if anyone knows please let me know.Hope you all had a fabby and creative weekend. xxxxxxxxxxx
